Climate resilience can be described as the ability to prepare, and respond to hazardous events caused by the climate. Climate resilience progression involves assessing the future effects that climate change will have on the local populations and what steps need to be taken to best cope with these risks. Climate Resilience is often associated with increase in frequency and intensity of major weather events like hurricanes, floods, or wildfires. As greenhouse gases continue to increase, these devastating natural forces will continue to worsen. However, well thought out resiliency planning can help mitigate the damages to vulnerable areas.
